Premier League leaders and quadruple hopefuls Arsenal take on League One strugglers Wigan in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday and I’ve put together this 27/1 FA Cup Bet Builder to mark the occasion.
We’ve got the game covered in our dedicated Match Predictions section and now I’ve looked at some of the other markets to put together this tip. With our Premier League bet builders, the focus tends to be on player markets but as Arsenal will potentially rotate heavily I’ve opted for just two player selections among the four here.
Back Our 27/1 Arsenal vs Wigan FA Cup Bet Builder
Arsenal -3 Handicap
There is a huge gulf in class here and Arsenal should be able to win comfortably even if they rotate heavily. The Gunners Peterborough thrashed Wigan last weekend and Arsenal beat Leeds 4-0 recently. The Gunners put four past Portsmouth in the last round and four goals may be enough to beat a -3 handicap against the Latics.
Arsenal over 8.5 corners
Arsenal average over six corners per-game in the Premier League and should be able to go above that against Wigan. The Gunners had 11 corners in their recent Champions League win over Kairat Almaty and forced eight against Championship outfit Portsmouth in the previous round. Nine or more looks an achievable target against Wigan.
Gabriel Martinelli To Have 2+ Shots On Target
Gabriel Martinelli hit a hat-trick in the win over Pompey and is one of a number of Arsenal players who should be promoted to the starting XI on Sunday. Martinelli has an accuracy rate of just under 40% in the Premier League and should get a few chances on Sunday, he can record at least two on target.
Jason Kerr To Have 1+ Shots
Wigan are unlikely to get too many opportunities but skipper Jason Kerr will be looking to lead by example and the defender appeals as an outside contender to have one shot. Kerr has had shots in three of his last four League One games and has had three attempts in total across his last two away games.
