Everton vs Aston Villa

Correct Score Prediction: 3-0 Everton

Aston Villa are still without a win since the opening day of the season, and they have lost nine of their 11 games since that win over Bournemouth. I can’t see them getting anything away to an Everton side who have performed against the lower quality sides so far this season. Romelu Lukaku could have a field day on Saturday, and I’m expecting him to notch some past the Villa defence.

Newcastle vs Leicester

Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Leicester

Newcastle have been looking upwards in terms of performance recently, but I think they’ll struggle against a Leicester side who are flying high. The visitors have only lost once this season, a 5-2 thrashing by Arsenal, and the belief that their players emanate even when losing should be enough to dishearten a fragile Newcastle squad. They could go top of the Premier League with a win on Saturday, and I’m expecting a win for them. With Jamie Vardy harbouring a knock I don’t think Leicester will be full throttle up front though, so 2-1 looks like a solid backing.

Southampton vs Stoke

Correct Score Prediction: 3-1 Southampton

Southampton have recovered well from their poor start to the season, and are currently on of the most in form sides in the Premier League. Stoke are difficult to beat as well, but with Graziano Pelle and Sadio Mane in blistering form I think they could notch a few on Saturday. They have won six of their last eight games and I’m expecting them to add another on Saturday, and with their attackers in good form I think a 3-1 correct score looks good.

Swansea vs Bournemouth

Correct Score Prediction: 1-1 Draw

Both Swansea and Bournemouth are in terrible form coming into this game, with the hosts only winning one of their last nine games and losing six. But Bournemouth’s key injuries have seen them lose six of the last seven. I think Bournemouth have a real chance of getting something against a Swansea side who seem devoid of ideas. Both sides are struggling up front though, so I’m not expecting a high scoring match. A 1-1 draw seems like a fair prediction to me.

West Brom vs Arsenal

Correct Score Prediction: 3-0 Arsenal

Arsenal have won five of their last six Premier League games, with only a draw against Spurs halting their perfect record. They will also be aiming to take the top spot in the Premier League before Manchester City play later in the day. West Brom have kept a good amount of clean sheets this season, but they fall apart once the ball hits the back of the net. They have conceded 19 goals in the seven matches that they have failed to keep a clean sheet in. I simply can’t see them keeping an in form Arsenal out for 90 minutes, which means that they’ll probably end up conceding a few. They’re pretty bad up front as well, so I think 3-0 to Arsenal is a good backing.

Manchester City vs Liverpool (17:30)

Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Manchester City

Manchester City were held by bottom of the table Aston Villa before the international break, but I don’t think this is too much of a representation of their form at the moment. They are unbeaten in nine matches, and with the rest of the top four playing earlier in the day it’s likely that they will need a win in order to stay at the top of the table for another week. Liverpool lost to Crystal Palace last time out as well, and I think they’ll lose again here. But they will probably get a goal, considering they have scored in 12 of their last 13 games. I think a 2-1 prediction is the best option.
