Weekly Top 10: 3,000/1 Acca spread across 10 competitions

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

We have another edition of our Top 10 Bets, and this week I’ve picked one tip from 10 different competitions, spanning from Tuesday to Sunday. You can back any of these as singles throughout the week, while they combine for a 3,030/1 acca which starts on Tuesday evening.

Don’t forget to check out our latest winning tips, with 19/1 & 9/1 accas landing on Sunday.

Top 10 Acca

Dundee United to beat Aberdeen (Tuesday, 7:45pm)

Dundee United have taken four points from their last two games, and they have the chance to pull further away from the drop zone on Tuesday night.

Aberdeen suffered their third straight defeat on Saturday, falling at home to Dundee FC. The Dons have lost seven of their last eight games, while they’ve lost six straight away league games.

Swansea to beat Preston (Tuesday, 7:45pm)

Swansea aren’t entirely out of the play-off race just yet, and they can move level on points with Preston with a victory on Tuesday.

The visitors have slipped down the standings after losing four of their last seven matches. A 1-0 defeat at Blackburn on Friday was their fifth loss on the road this term, while Swansea are moving in the right direction.

The hosts have won three of their last four games, while they’ve won three on the bounce at home.

Atalanta to beat Borussia Dortmund (Wednesday, 5:45pm)

Since Raffaele Palladino was appointed Atalanta head coach, La Dea have won 10 of their 12 home matches. That run continued with a 2-1 victory over Italian champions Napoli on Sunday, and Atalanta are aiming to reverse their 2-0 defeat in Germany last week.

Atalanta have scored twice in their last six home games across all competitions, while Dortmund’s only away win in Europe this term came at FC Copenhagen. The Bundesliga outfit were fortunate to salvage a draw at RB Leipzig at the weekend, and they should be opposed in Bergamo.

Over 3.5 goals in Stuttgart vs Celtic (Thursday 5:45pm)

Celtic suffered a 4-1 home defeat in Glasgow last week, before Sunday’s 2-1 home loss to Hibs dented their title hopes. Their European campaign is all but over, although they should be able to score in Stuttgart.

The hosts drew 3-3 against Heidenheim in the Bundesliga on Sunday. Four of their last five Europa League games have featured four or more goals, including 4-1 and 3-2 victories in their last two at home.

Crystal Palace to win and under 3.5 goals vs Zrinjski Mostar (Thursday, 8pm)

Zrinjski failed to score in all four of their League Phase trips, but only one of those matches saw more than a goal scored. They face a Crystal Palace side who look fatigued, with the Eagles edging out Wolves 1-0 on Sunday.

A win by any means would do for Palace, who could only draw 1-1 in the reverse fixture. Palace haven’t scored more than twice in 15 games since a 3-0 win over Shelbourne, so back a low-scoring victory for the Eagles.

Augsburg to beat Cologne (Friday, 7:30pm)

Cologne have won once across their last five games, while they’ve suffered six defeats in 11 away trips this term. The visitors have a solid record away to the bottom five, but against better sides they’ve lost five of six.

Augsburg have won four of their last five games, and they can push into the top half by continuing their strong run at home.

Aston Villa to win at Wolves (Friday, 8pm)

Villa struggled in their 1-1 draw at home to Leeds, but they can strengthen their grip on third with a victory at bottom side Wolves. Unai Emery’s side have won five of seven visits to teams in the bottom half.

Wolves suffered their fourth defeat in six league games on Sunday, and they were incredibly fortunate to draw the other two. The hosts have suffered 10 defeats in 14 games at Molineux, and Villa should take care of business as they look to return to form.

Plymouth to win at Rotherham (Saturday, 3pm)

Plymouth beat league leaders Cardiff 5-2 on Saturday to extend their good form, and second-bottom Rotherham should struggle to match them.

The hosts have lost three games in a row, while they’ve lost four of six home meetings with top-half teams. Plymouth have won all of their visits to the bottom eight so far, and they’ve scored 12 goals across their last three games.

Atletico Madrid to win & BTTS vs Real Oviedo (Saturday, 8pm)

Real Oviedo have found their scoring touch of late, and they drew 3-3 at Real Sociedad last weekend. La Liga’s bottom side have found the net in their last three home matches, and they can trouble a shaky Atletico side.

The visitors followed up a 3-3 draw at Club Brugge with a 4-2 win over Espanyol at the weekend. They have work to do in the second leg of their Champions League tie in midweek, so back Oviedo to score in yet another defeat.

Roma to beat Juventus (Sunday, 7:45pm)

Saturday’s 2-0 loss at home to Como was Juve’s third defeat on the spin, and the Old Lady face a high-pressure Champions League clash with Galatasaray ahead of this trip to the capital.

Juve have lost all three of their visits to the top six this season, while Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma have won nine of their 10 home meetings with sides below them.
