Elite club football returns this weekend as the extended international break draws to a close, and I have scoured the upcoming schedule for my top ten bets for the coming week.

Lamine Yamal to score in Croatia vs Spain (Tuesday, 7:45pm)
Lamine Yamal has been a sensation so far this season and made it four goals from three games for Spain against the Czech Republic. He has scored in eight of his last nine for club and country, netting 12 times in total in this period, and faces a Croatia side that were demolished by England last time out.
Borussia Dortmund over 2.5 team goals vs Werder Bremen (Friday, 7:30pm)
Borussia Dortmund are on a six-game winning streak which has seen them average 2.83 goals per game and they should fill their boots against a Werder Bremen side that were thrashed 4-1 at Freiburg earlier this season.
Lyon to beat Lens (Friday, 7:45pm)
Lens are favourites for the points on Friday but they sit 15th in the Ligue 1 table with just four points from five games. They have lost three times, including to Lorient in their last home outing, while Lyon are challenging at the top of the table and head to Lens unbeaten in five.
Swansea to beat Norwich (Saturday, 12:30pm)
Swansea are top of the Championship standings and look good value for a third successive win against Norwich. The Canaries are on a three-game losing streak and the Swans have won their last three home meetings with them.
Brentford to beat Aston Villa (Saturday, 3pm)
Aston Villa may have ended their winless start to the Premier League season, but they have been torrid at times this season and face a Brentford side that took themselves into the top four with a 3-0 battering of Chelsea last time out. Back the Bees to emerge victorious at Villa Park.
Burton double chance vs Doncaster (Saturday, 3pm)
Doncaster’s home fans are yet to celebrate a win this season and their first success of the season last time out came against the struggling Peterborough, while Burton have won two of their four league away games.
York to beat Northampton (Saturday, 3pm)
York City possess League Two’s best home record of the season, scoring 12 goals en route to four wins from four. They should be backed for another win against Northampton, who are 22nd in the standings and have lost three of their four competitive away games.
Over 2.5 goals in Lazio vs Monza (Sunday, 2pm)
Monza’s Serie A games this season have averaged four goals per game and another high-scoring affair is expected in Rome, with Lazio having seen at least three goals in two of their last three Serie A fixtures.
Lecce double chance vs Bologna (Sunday, 2pm)
Bologna have had a terrible start to the season and find themselves 18th after the opening five games. They are yet to taste victory and hosts Lecce beat Monza 3-2 in their last home fixture, while they are unbeaten in their last three home meetings with I Rossoblu.
Deportivo double chance vs Real Sociedad (Sunday, 3:30pm)
Deportivo La Coruna have enjoyed a fantastic return to La Liga and head to San Sebastian having lost just one of their seven games. They have taken five points from three away games and their hosts on Sunday have only won one of their four competitive home fixtures.
