14/1 International Acca Lands!

Despite it being the dreaded International Break, our Football analysts have pulled it out of the bag, landing a 14/1 International Acca!

Here’s how it all went down:

First leg of the acca saw Ghana take on South Africa in the Africa Cup Of Nations. We put our faith in the home side and they did not disappoint. Ghanas domination paid off in the 36th minute when they would take the lead through Thomas. They continued to dominate the game throughout and eventually doubling their lead in the 80th minute. Final score 2:0!

Next up Czech Republic vs Kosovo in a Euro 2020 qualifier. First half turned out to be fairly quiet despite the home side completely controlling the game. In the 50th minute the visitors would take the lead after just having 2 shots all game! With 40 minutes to go we were still confident the Czechs would turn it round. Finally in the 71st minute Alex Kral would level it up for home side, giving us that extra hope. Just 8 minutes later we got that goal we were after! Czech Republic went on to secure the win.

Ronaldo and his men took on Lithuania in another Euro 2020 qualifier. As expected this game turned out to be the Ronaldo show. Inside just 20 minutes, he managed to bag himself 2 goals giving the home side a comfortable lead. They weren’t to stop there. 7 minutes in to the 2nd half was when the blood bath started. We would see goals in the 52nd, 56th, 62nd & 65th minute to give Portugal a 6-0 lead and a super easy win. Ronaldo would get his hatrick and put a step closer to the win.

England take on Montenegro in the 4th leg. The Three Lions certainly weren’t messing about tonight. Inside just 30 minutes they would take a 4-0 lead with goals from, Chamberlain, Kane, Kane & Rashford. The England skipper would get his hatrick just before half time. Second half was quiet by first half standards. An own goal and Abraham tap in would give the home side a 7-0 lead and secure the 4th leg of our acca.

Last but not least was a friendly between Republic Of Ireland vs New Zealand. We expected a low scoring game here but fancied the home side to come out on top. Despite being on the back foot, the visitors took the lead in the 30th minute. This appeared to rile up the hosts as they went in to full attack mode. Derrick Williams would level it up for Ireland just before half time. It didn’t take long after half time for our selection to be back on top. They would go on to score in the 52nd & 75th minutes to win 3-1! Our 14/1 International Acca Lands!
