Thursday nights offer plenty of opportunities for punters during the Europa League and Europa Conference League group stages, with a host of games kicking off at 5.45pm before another batch at 8pm.

The final round of group stage games took place on Thursday and here at FST we made the most of the two sets of fixtures by picking out a 19/1 fourfold in the early kick offs before landing another four selection bet at 10/1 in the late games.

Home underdogs Aberdeen and Union SG just needed to avoid defeat in their games against Eintracht Frankfurt and Liverpool and these legs both landed comfortably. The Dons led 1-0 at the break and doubled their advantage in the second half, while Union SG were 2-1 ahead at the interval against a much-changed Liverpool side and were never behind.

Toulouse struck first early in the second half at LASK but were quickly pegged back, before Gabriel Suazo struck on 83 minutes to secure victory for the French side.

That left us waiting on a goal for Zrinjski as Aston Villa had taken a second half lead and the Bosnian side obliged after 87 minutes.

We also selected Aberdeen in the double chance market as our Bet Of The Day, providing us with a 5/4 winner as a single.

We covered both European competitions in our early acca but focused solely on the Europa League for our later fourfold, which landed largely without incident.

Our three straightforward win tips – Ajax, West Ham and Sparta Prague – all won by two-goal margins and Olympiacos comfortably beat a -1 handicap as they saw off Serbia’s Backa Topola 5-2.

Our US tipsters also joined the party overnight with a 10/11 NBA Best Bet and an 11/10 NHL Best Bet winning as singles.
