Sunday saw the first of the six groups at the European Championships wrapped up on Sunday evening. Italy’s win over Wales took the headlines after another Italian win and progression for the Welsh, but our followers had plenty of reason to celebrate the group’s less glamourous game.

Our original fourfold tip included Fabian Schar to be booked, but the Newcastle man didn’t feature which voided that leg of what was a near 90/1 tip. However, the bet ran on as a treble and that got off to a brilliant start with Harris Seferovic scoring for the Swiss after six minutes.
It took another 20 minutes to land our first leg, with Xherdan Shaqiri scoring in his fourth-successive major tournament. The Liverpool man struck his second of the match in the second-half and that goal wrapped up a 3-1 win which has all but sent the Swiss into the next round.
Our Bet Builder tip was in good shape heading into the final 15 minutes and after 76 minutes Calgar Soyuncu picked up a booking in a frustrating clash for Turkey and they showed little fight in the closing stages as Switzerland wrapped up the win and secured our 20/1 winner.
