Will Grigg Top Scorer at 500/1

The lad’s on fire, how can you not back him? Obviously this is fairly unlikely to happen, but this is the year that Leicester won the Premier League and a former non-league striker made it into the England Euro 2016 squad, so anything can happen!

Group Favourites To Get 9 Points

France, England, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Portugal – £5 returns £25,288.80

Stick a fiver on this and you could end the group stages with enough to put a deposit down on a house! There are a few tough fixtures for the group favourites to get through, and Spain could well be the dodgiest part of that bet but surely for odds of over 5000/1 this is worth a punt. Taking Spain out of the equation leaves you with 1348/1 odds, so still not too shabby!

Top Team Goalscorer Acca – £5 returns £2429.30

Most countries in the European Championship have one standout goalscorer that is solely there to bang in the goals. Portugal would be nothing without Cristiano Ronaldo, for instance, and we all know that Thomas Muller loves to score in major competitions. You can only back one team from each group on bet365 though, so here are our picks! Remember, these players just need to outscore everyone else on their team, not everybody else in the group.

Group A – Olivier Giroud at 3/1

Group B – Harry Kane at 15/8

Group C – Thomas Muller at 5/4

Group D – Burak Yilmaz at 3/1

Group E – Romelu Lukaku at 9/4

Group F – Cristiano Ronaldo at 4/9

Group Forecast Acca – £5 returns £5571.95

The seeding system means that each group in the European Championship has some obvious favourites in it, which makes this an excellent value bet. The group of death involving Spain, Croatia, Czech Republic, and Turkey is the only dubious one, the rest are pretty obvious choices so for a return like that it’s hard to not back it!

Group A – 1st – France, 2nd – Switzerland

Group B – 1st – England, 2nd – Russia

Group C – 1st – Germany, 2nd – Poland

Group D – 1st – Spain, 2nd – Croatia

Group E – 1st – Belgium, 2nd – Italy

Group F – 1st – Portugal, 2nd – Austria

Finish Bottom of Group Acca – £5 returns £354.40

There are obvious choices for who will fail to perform in the group stages and putting them all together in an accumulator makes for some great value bets. Czech Republic have by far the worst squad in the group of death and I think the Republic of Ireland’s difficulty to break down will allow them to finish above Sweden. The rest are obvious selections.

Group A – Albania

Group B – Slovakia

Group C – Northern Ireland

Group D – Czech Republic

Group E – Sweden

Group F – Hungary
