68/1 Bet Builder for England's clash with Japan

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.
After Thomas Tuchel’s experimental Three Lions side underwhelmed against Uruguay, a stronger lineup is expected for Tuesday’s clash with Japan.
The Japanese were 1-0 winners away to Scotland on Saturday, and we’ve backed them to cause some problems in our free England vs Japan predictions.
I’ve picked out a few more player props to create a 68/1 Ultimate Bet Builder for Tuesday’s game.
England vs Japan Ultimate Bet Builder
Harry Kane to score anytime
After sitting out on Friday night, Harry Kane is expected to return to the lineup against Japan. The Three Lions’ all-time top scorer is enjoying an incredible year for Bayern Munich, and Tuchel has some great creative options to get the best out of him.
Kane has scored 14 times across his last 10 games for Bayern, and he can carry that fine scoring form into this clash.
Ayase Ueda to score anytime
Feyenoord striker Ueda has 25 goals for club and country across this campaign, and he’s set to be handed a start after coming off the bench at Hampden Park.
The forward netted eight times in Japan’s qualifying campaign, and he scored in clashes with Paraguay and Brazil in the autumn. He went into the international break with four goals in three games for Feyenoord, so back him to impress at Wembley.
Karou Mitoma 3+ foul involvements
Brighton winger Mitoma led all Japanese players in qualifying in terms of fouls committed, making multiple fouls in clashes with China, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.
However, Mitoma also drew multiple fouls on three occasions. He was involved in three or more fouls in three of his last four matches for Brighton, and he’s backed to be busy on both sides of the ball in this clash.
Ezri Konsa to be fouled 2+ times
Konza’s importance under Thomas Tuchel is evident in how often he was fouled in qualifying. The Aston Villa defender was fouled 13 times, more than any other England player.
Tuchel’s preference for orthodox full-backs leaves his centre-halves tasked with progressing the ball. That duty should fall to Konsa, who was fouled 10 times across home meetings with Albania, Latvia, and Serbia under Tuchel’s watch.
England goalkeeper to make 3+ saves
Japan finished with 18 shots in their win at Hampden, seven of which were on target, with three considered big chances. That was partly due to the game remaining goalless for 84 minutes, but little about England’s draw with Uruguay should dissuade them from pushing forward here.
Uruguay had nine chances in their draw, but poor finishing saw them rarely threaten. Japan can prove to be a bigger threat on Tuesday, so back Jordan Pickford to make three or more saves in this clash.
