With no international football to occupy us, it was a long old summer for football fans in Europe but the new season returned with a bang in August and FST’s expert tipsters reaped the rewards with a host of winners.

While we had plenty of fantastic winners earlier in the month, the headline tip came just last weekend as Saturday’s Both Teams to Score & Win treble came flying in at a giant 64/1!

We were relying on PSG, Benfica and Girona to both win and concede and it was a close-run thing at the start, with a late consolation goal for Lens in Paris keeping the dream alive before two more straightforward legs landed us the big win.

The very same day as our huge 64/1 winner, our tipsters added a delicious cherry on top of our massive cake with a 10/1 Both Teams to Score accumulator winner.

This tip focused on British football, with goals at both ends coming in Barrow, Edinburgh, Manchester and Southampton. All eight teams involved had found the net by the 61st minute, so this was a relatively comfortable ride for all of those who backed it.

34/1 BTTS & Win treble starts the season in style

It was another Both Teams to Score & Win treble that handed us our second-biggest winner of the month and it came back before the start of the Premier League season.

Focusing on the EFL Cup and European qualifying, Gareth Freeman smashed in a 34/1 effort thanks to Rangers, Leeds and Bristol City all winning but failing to keep a clean sheet.

Top flight football returns to land 15/1 & 15/2 tips

Just a few days after Gareth’s 34/1 winner, the top-flight season returned across parts of Europe to help us to two well-priced winners.

An afternoon accumulator returned at 15/1 thanks to proceedings at Celtic, Clermont, Motherwell and Rennes before a four-fold Over 2.5 Goals acca came flying in to end our day on a high!

Late goals land 19/2 and 15/2 accas!

The weekend after our rip-roaring start to the campaign saw us land another couple of solid winners, but it wasn’t for the faint of heart as we relied on a few late goals to get the tips over the line.

An 89th minute strike for Nottingham Forest was the headline, but we were also made to wait at Elland Road and in Metz for our 15/1 acca to land.

Later that evening, our 15/2 Both Teams to Score accumulator kept the sweats coming as three of the four legs still hung in the balance by the hour mark, with an 82nd minute goal for Leuven at home to Antwerp coming closest to ruining our fun.

Top tipping highlighted by phenomenal Bet of the Day streak

Things have tailed off over the last few days but our tipsters went on a fantastic run of form in our Bet of the Day in August, landing 16 of our first 21 selections and twice going close to a perfect week of winners!
