Spain are among the favourites to go all the way at the World Cup but they failed to impress as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Cape Verde in their opener, and we may see a reaction from La Roja when they take on Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Luis de la Fuente left a few stars on the bench against the Blue Sharks but should name his best XI for the clash with the Green Falcons, who held Uruguay to a 0-0 draw in their own opener.

I’ve got the game covered in our dedicated Match Predictions section and have now delved into the player markets to put together this 16/1 World Cup bet builder tip with Paddy Power.

Back our 16/1 Spain vs Saudi Arabia Bet Builder here

Lamine Yamal To Have 2+ Shots On Target (including woodwork)

Spain should start Lamine Yamal, Mikel Oyarzabal and Nico Williams as their front three and the trio can all record at least two shots on target against a Saudi Arabia side who faced 27 shots, 10 on target, against Uruguay.

Starting with Yamal, he averaged 5.5 shots per-game for Spain in qualifying and exactly two shots per-game on target. Yamal also averaged over a shot on target per-game for Barcelona in both La Liga and the Champions League.

Mikel Oyarzabal To Have 2+ Shots On Target (including woodwork)

Oyarzabal had five shots against Cape Verde, one of which was on target and one was blocked. The Real Sociedad forward averaged exactly two shots on target per-game in qualifying and more than one per-game for his club in La Liga.

Nico Williams To Have 2+ Shots On Target (including woodwork)

Nico Williams didn’t have as an impressive shooting rate as his fellow Spain forwards in La Liga but he was fairly accurate, with around 39% of his attempts either on target or off the woodwork. Williams averaged 1.5 shots on target per-game in World Cup qualifying.

Mohamed Kanno To Have 1+ Shots On Target (including woodwork)

It won’t be all one-way traffic and Mohamed Kanno may be able to register a shot on goal for The Green One.

Saudi Arabia had seven shots against Uruguay and Kanno had two of those, with one on target. He also scored a respectable five goals in 32 games for Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.
