Sports Journalist at FST, Gareth qualified as a journalist after graduating from university and spent over a decade as a freelance broadcast journalist, commentator and tipster before joining FST. Now living in Manchester, he is a long suffering Bolton Wanderers fan who also enjoys boxing, the NBA, tennis and rugby league.

For the second season in a row, there is a Manchester Derby FA Cup final as Manchester City bid for back-to-back wins against city rivals Manchester United.

FST’s Alex Wrigley has got the game covered in our dedicated Match Predictions section and now I’ve put together this ambitious four-leg Ultimate Bet Builder focusing on the player markets.

This Ultimate Bet Builder is priced at 86/1 and I’ve used Paddy Power to slip up this bet, and new customers can take advantage of their sign-up offer using the button below.

86/1 FA Cup Final Ultimate Bet Builder Tip

Phil Foden To Score Anytime

Manchester City star Phil Foden looks the standout pick in the anytime goalscorer market. Foden ended the season with 26 goals in all competitions, including five goals in his last five appearances. The England international also tends to enjoy playing against United as he scored a brace in the last Manchester derby, meaning he now has six goals in his last four starts against the Red Devils.

Alejandro Garnacho To Have 3+ Shots

Alejandro Garnacho averaged 2.8 shots-per-game in the Premier League for Manchester United but that figure stands at 3.8 across his final nine league appearances. Garnacho has had at least three attempts in seven of his last 11 Premier League games and he had four in total in 68 minutes against Coventry in the semi-final. Accuracy has been an issue for the Argentine, but in terms of volume his output has been strong of late and he can fashion at least three attempts against City.

Bruno Fernandes To Be Shown A Card

Bruno Fernandes had nine yellow cards in 35 Premier League games this season and looks a good value play in the to be shown a card market. The Portugal international has a habit of picking up cards in big games, having received yellow cards in the FA Cup win over Liverpool and in the key Champions League fixture at Galatasaray earlier in the campaign, so he looks a clear contender to be shown a card.

Kevin De Bruyne To Have 2+ Shots On Target

Kevin De Bruyne averaged 2.4 shots-per-game over the season in the Premier League and was fairly accurate, with a combined 1.7 per-game either on target or blocked and just 0.7 of those recorded as off target. The Belgian had multiple attempts in eight of his final 11 appearances and he had at least five in three of his final seven league games. De Bruyne may only need two or three attempts to test the keeper twice, so he looks a good candidate to have two or more attempts on target.
