Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

A busy Saturday of FA Cup action wraps up at Anfield, as Brighton take on the Premier League champions in an 8pm kick-off. The struggling Seagulls are backed for a tough evening, and I’ve dug into some player props to combine with our selections to put together a 63/1 bet builder.

This fourfold has been put together with Paddy Power, who are running this great offer for new customers:

Liverpool vs Brighton Ultimate Bet Builder

Liverpool -1

Brighton have lost three of their last four games, and their winless streak has put manager Fabian Hurzeler under extreme pressure. The Seagulls lost 2-0 at Anfield in December, and this should be another comfortable win for Arne Slot’s side.

Unlike last season, Slot appears to be taking the FA Cup seriously as the Reds search for silverware. While his side lost their last home game against Manchester City, they beat Newcastle 4-1 and Qarabag 6-0 in their two previous outings at Anfield. With Brighton struggling to create chances, back the Reds to clear a -1 handicap once again.

Florian Wirtz to score anytime

After a slow start, Wirtz has come into his own for Liverpool in recent weeks. The German midfielder has recorded 13 shots on target across his last 13 games, and he can continue that eye for goal against Brighton.

Injuries and a lack of form have left gaps in Brighton’s midfield, with Carlos Baleba being hauled off after just 22 minutes in midweek. There should be plenty of space for Wirtz to exploit, so he appeals in the anytime goalscorer market.

Lewis Dunk to be carded

Dunk has eight Premier League bookings to his name this season, and the defender faces a stern test at Anfield. He has picked up seven of those eight bookings away from home, including a caution at Anfield.

With seven cautions in just 13 away games, the defender is a tempting 4/1 to pick up a card in Saturday’s tie.

Jan Paul van Hecke to be fouled 2+ times

Brighton defender van Hecke leads all of their players in terms of fouls won this season. He’s been fouled twice or more in four of his last five Premier League games, while the Reds’ most foul-prone player is Hugo Ekitike.
