Each fixture has an extensive range of markets and options for punters to consider, though we are focusing on one area in particular in this customised international football betting guide.

Eden Hazard – evens     BELGIUM vs Iceland     Nations League (Thurs 15th November)

Chelsea’s talismanic winger Eden Hazard has reached new levels of excellence this season under new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.

Released from the defensive shackles placed on him by former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte, Hazard has been free to do what he does best further up the pitch.

Hazard has hit the net 7 times in just 8 Premier League starts so far this season and the 27-year old has arguably been the best player in the division since the new campaign kicked off in August.

At international level, Hazard has scored 3 times in his last 5 appearances for Belgium and he will expect to get his name on the scoresheet again against an Iceland side who haven’t won any of their last 11 games.

Sergio Ramos – 9/2     Croatia vs SPAIN     Nations League (Thurs 15th November)

Sergio Ramos Spain

Ordinarily, tipping a central defender to score anytime in a particular game is considered a long-shot, however, backing Sergio Ramos to hit the net is always the most calculated of gambles.

Ramos is incredibly effective at both ends of the pitch and the 32-year old has consistently been a huge goal threat throughout his glittering club and international career.

Typically, Ramos managed to get himself among the goals in each of Spain’s last 3 international matches. Coincidentally, Ramos started his 3-game scoring streak against Spain’s opponents on Thursday, Croatia, when the teams met on September 11th in Elche.

Ramos has also scored 4 times in 12 La Liga appearances for Real Madrid this season. Unsurprisingly, Ramos is the highest scoring defender in the Spanish top flight this term.

Marco Reus – 7/5     GERMANY vs Russia     Friendly (Thurs 15th November)

Marco Reus has been in scintillating form for a ravenous Borussia Dortmund team this season. The 29-year old was made club captain by Head Coach Lucien Favre in the summer, and so far, Reus is thriving in his new role.

Reus has plundered 8 goals in 11 Bundesliga starts since August and the Dortmund-born superstar scored 2 of Borussia’s 3 goals at the weekend in their enthralling 3-2 win over rivals Bayern Munich. At international level, things have been a little less rosy however.

Reus World Cup Group Match goal against Sweden in June remains his only Die Mannschaft goal in 3 years. Reus has a brilliant chance to boost his record on Friday however, against a Russian team that have won only 1 of their last 6 international friendlies on their travels.

Wayne Rooney – evens     ENGLAND vs USA     Friendly (Thurs 15th November)

Gareth Southgate’s decision to include Wayne Rooney in England’s squad has drawn plenty of criticism this week.

Rooney finished as England’s all-time top scorer and their highest capped outfield player ever, though he never got the send off he deserved having ended his long-spanning international career with a whimper by announcing his retirement in August 2017.

Rooney has been in fine form for DC United in the MLS in 2018 and the 33-year old will carry some decent momentum with him into England’s meeting with the USA. The former Manchester United star will be desperate to sign off with a goal, and his England teammates will be doing their utmost to supply him with chances.

The veteran centre forward is also almost certain to be on penalty taking duty on his last ever international start at Wembley.

Memphis Depay – 6/4     NETHERLANDS vs France     Nations League (Fri 16th November)

Memphis Depay Lyon Champions League

Explosive attacker Memphis Depay will be hoping to showcase his talents again this week in the Netherlands’ eagerly anticipated, high-profile clash with world champions France on Friday.

Fresh from 2 goals at the weekend for his club Lyon in their 4-2 victory at Guingamp, Depay’s self-belief will be through the roof ahead of his date with Les Bleus.

Depay rattled home 3 goals in the Netherlands’ last 2 home matches against Peru and Germany respectively, and on Friday he comes up against a French defence with a propensity for conceding goals. Even though the World Cup winners are electric in attack, they have kept just 6 clean sheets in their last 17 international fixtures in total.
