Eredivisie 2026/27 outright predictions with 50/1 tip!

PSV remain the team to beat in the Eredivisie, despite being beaten 4-0 by AZ Alkmaar in the Johan Cruyff Shield on Sunday.
The champions capitulated after an early red card for Joey Veerman, with manager Peter Bosz refusing to compromise on his attacking style despite being a man down.
Former Ajax manager Bosz has won the league every year since arriving at PSV in 2023. Last season was their most dominant yet, finishing 19 points clear of Feyenoord and winning 27 of their 34 matches.
With doubts remaining over the other Dutch giants, the champions could ease towards another crown.
Dutch Eredivisie outright winner prediction
PSV at 8/11
Ajax endured a dismal season last year, finishing fifth in the Eredivisie. They claimed the Netherlands’ final European place through the play-offs, thanks to a penalty shoot-out victory over Utrecht.
The club cycled through three managers, and this summer they’ve turned to former Girona boss Michel to lead their new era.
It’s something of a full-circle moment. Girona are owned by Manchester City and Pep Guardiola’s brother Pere, and Michel has moved from them to take charge of the club which developed Guardiola’s mentor, Cruyff.
However, Michel’s Girona departure wasn’t all that warm, given that they finished 19th last season and were relegated to the second tier, just two years after he led them into the Champions League.
He doesn’t arrive with a stellar track record, and he’s tasked with improving an Ajax side which finished almost 30 points off the pace last season.
Their underlying numbers pointed to them performing like a mid-table side. Even claiming one of the Eredivisie’s Champions League places, reduced to two for this season, could be beyond them.
Feyenoord are in a better position to challenge PSV, but replacing Robin van Persie with Giovanni van Bronckhorst seems like a risk.
He returns to the club where he won the Dutch title in 2017, but they failed to match those heights in the following two seasons. Van Bronckhorst had a short spell in China after that, followed by disappointing spells at Rangers and Besiktas.
They’re incredibly reliant on Ayase Ueda, who topped the scoring charts with 25 goals. Despite that, they scored 31 fewer goals than PSV, who once again should have the league’s best forward line under Bosz.
Ueda is the favourite in the top goalscorer betting, but young Groningen forward Thom van Bergen stands out at 50/1.
He recorded 17.2 Expected Goals in the Eredivisie last term, behind only Ueda and Irish forward Troy Parrott, who has been linked with a move away from AZ.
Van Bergen only scored nine times, but the young forward will continue to get chances for Groningen this term, and he could be a breakout star if his finishing improves.
