Brentford v Leicester – Over 2.5 goals

No team outside the top four of the Premier League have conceded fewer goals than Brentford’s seven, but their clash against Leicester has a good chance of being an entertaining affair.

The Bees have shown their ability by beating Arsenal and holding Liverpool to a 3-3 draw in west London, and they were unfortunate to fall to a 1-0 defeat to Champions League winners Chelsea last time.

Thomas Frank’s team will surely remain positive on their own patch, while Leicester are brimming with confidence after knocking four goals past both Manchester United and Spartak Moscow in the last week.

The Foxes have failed to score in just one of their last 18 league matches on the road, and there is an expectation that there should be goals in this one.

Atletico Madrid vs Real Sociedad – Atletico to win

Real Sociedad went top of the La Liga standings with their 1-0 defeat of Mallorca last weekend but their time at the summit could be short-lived as they travel to the Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday.

The Basque club showed a lack of attacking potency in recent draws with Monaco and Getafe and they could struggle to find a way through Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.

Atleti have enjoyed big wins over Milan and Barcelona recently and, although they were edged by Liverpool in the Champions League in midweek, they did not travel for that contest and have had an additional week’s rest in La Liga.

Manchester United vs Liverpool – Liverpool win

Manchester United pulled off another comeback win against Atalanta midweek but they were poor in the first half and went in 2-0 down. If they play anywhere near that level against Liverpool, things could get ugly.

Mo Salah has gained all the headlines for the Reds but the return of Roberto Firmino has also been key, his link up with Sadio Mane and Salah is integral to the success of their forward line.

Jurgen Klopp’s side showed all of their battling qualities in their 3-2 win over Atletico and are just operating at a level above the Red Devils at the moment.

Roma vs Napoli – Napoli win

Napoli have made an awesome start in Serie A with eight wins in as many games and they can make it nine in a row at Roma on Sunday.

Roma suffered a shock 6-1 loss in Norway against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday but their home form has been good. The Giallorossi have won all six of their home games this season in all competitions but all four of their Serie A games in that period have come against teams who are outside of the European spots in Italy and Napoli are a big step up in class.

The visitors did the league double over Roma last season, and look a good price to maintain their winning run on Sunday.
