Real Sociedad vs Atletico Madrid – Atletico Madrid to win and BTTS at 10/3 with bet365

Sociedad closed 2025 with three defeats in four La Liga games, while they’ve lost four of their five clashes with Spain’s top six sides this term.

However, the hosts have scored in seven of their eight home games this term, including a 2-1 loss to Real Madrid and a 3-2 defeat against Villarreal.

Atletico turned a corner ahead of the winter break, beating Valencia and Girona to end the year in third. They’ve won seven of their nine clashes with bottom-half teams this season, so back them to win and concede in San Sebastian.

Tottenham vs Sunderland – Sunderland win or draw double chance at 1/1 with bet365

Sunderland have been the surprise package of the Premier League this season, with the pre-season relegation favourites heading into gameweek 20 seventh in the standings.

They have lost just four games all season, and a stalemate with Manchester City last time out leaves them unbeaten in their last four. They face a Tottenham side that have managed just three wins from their last 11 games in all competitions, while only two of their seven Premier League wins have come on home soil this term.

Plymouth vs Burton – Plymouth to win at 23/20 with bet365

Plymouth have picked up a solid haul of 11 points from their last six games to move within touching distance of safety and the Pilgrims can haul themselves out of the drop zone by beating Burton, who occupy the final safe spot, on Sunday.

The Brewers have four defeats and just one win in their last seven League One games and scoring has become a major issue. Burton have failed to score in five of those seven games and in-form Argyle look well placed to secure a crucial win over a key rival.

Barnet vs Crewe – Barnet at 7/10 with bet365

Barnet can take plenty of confidence from back-to-back League Two victories over Bristol Rovers and Crawley and the Bees can make it three wins on the bounce by beating Crewe at the Hive.

Taking six points from two matches is a pretty big deal for Dean Brennan’s men, who haven’t been getting the results their performances have deserved.

However, that has changed in recent weeks and Barnet’s 2-1 success against Crawley came from 19 shots, 13 corners and an expected goals tally of 2.26.

The Bees remain one of League Two’s top performing teams and the north Londoners can show their quality when Crewe come to town.

Alaves vs Real Oviedo – Alaves to win at 5/6 with bet365

Despite picking up an important point against Celta Vigo before the winter break, Real Oviedo still find themselves in real danger of making an immediate return to the Segunda Division, and things are unlikely to get better in their first game of 2026.

Alaves aren’t faring too much better than their second-bottom visitors – they are just seven points better off – but they do have the significant advantage of being at home, where they beat Real Sociedad and Sevilla last month.

Oviedo have scored a league-low seven goals this term and lack the firepower to earn anything from a trip to Alaves, who have won three of their last five games.
