63/1 Experts Accumulator Tip
Aaron Rogan
Moreirense vs Benfica – Benfica to win and both teams to score at 5/2 with bet365
Both teams have scored in each of Benfica’s last three league games, and they’re in line for another open contest in their visit to Moreirense.
Moreirense have scored in each of their home games this term, including a 2-1 defeat to leaders Porto. They’ve scored two goals per game at home, although they’ve also only managed to keep one clean sheet.
Benfica are in fine scoring form, only failing to find the net in a visit to Porto. They’ve won five of their six away games outside of that, while Moreirense have lost four from four against the top five so far.
Aaron Ashley
Marseille vs Monaco – Marseille at 9/10 with bet365
Marseille rarely let home advantage go to waste, having lost only one of their ten matches at the Stade Velodrome this season, and this looks the perfect time to be hosting an out-of-form Monaco.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side have won five and drawn two of their seven home games in Ligue 1 and that impressive run of results features a 1-0 victory over powerhouses PSG, while they have also toppled Newcastle in the Champions League on their own patch.
Monaco have lost four of their last five matches in Ligue 1 and, having suffered defeats in their last two road outings at Rennes and Brest, they must be there for the taking.
Ian Wilkerson
Brentford vs Leeds – Brentford at 10/11 with bet365
There have been signs of life at Leeds over the last couple of weeks and a victory over Chelsea and a draw with Liverpool when they grabbed an injury-time equaliser against the champions.
Those results took them out of the bottom three before the weekend fixtures, but they both came at Elland Road and the Yorkshire outfit will have to get their act together on the road if they are to beat the drop.
The only occasion when they have got something on the road was a win at bottom-of-the-table Wolves, and a trip to Brentford will not be easy.
Manchester City have been the only visiting team to win at the Gtech Community Stadium this season and with Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle all losing there, it could be Keith Andrews’s side who are celebrating on Sunday.
James Mason
Aberdeen vs Kilmarnock – Aberdeen to win at 3/4 with bet365
Aberdeen’s hopes of qualifying for the next stage of the Conference League may be over after Thursday’s loss to Strasbourg, but the Dons can put a smile back on the fans’ faces when they host Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.
Jimmy Thelin’s troops are on a six-game unbeaten run in the league, winning four and drawing two, and they now host a Killie side who have picked up just one away win from seven top-flight attempts.
Kilmarnock are in the midst of a nine-match streak without a victory – last tasting success at the beginning of October – while they have lost in seven of their last eight visits to Pittodrie.
Joe Casey
Alaves vs Real Madrid – Real Madrid at 7/10 with bet365
Xabi Alonso is under pressure as Real Madrid manager after a poor run of just two wins from their last eight games and back-to-back defeats against Celta Vigo and Manchester City.
Nevertheless Los Blancos should be too strong for an Alaves side who have lost three of their last four in the league and have only scored 13 times in 15 league games.
Real Madrid have won the last seven meetings between these two teams and they should be able to get back on track by extending that run in this one.
Alex Wrigley
Strasbourg vs Lorient – Strasbourg win at 8/11 with bet365
Lorient have the worst away record in Ligue 1 with a meagre two points collected from a possible 21, and they look set to blank once again when they visit Stade de la Meinau on Sunday.
15 of Strasbourg’s 22 points this season have been won on home soil, and they head into this tie having won three of their last four home games in all competitions, so they can see off a travelling outfit that have scored just two away goals all campaign.
