Guimaraes vs FC Porto – Over 2.5 goals at 21/20 with bet365

Porto have a perfect record on the road this season, winning all nine of their away trips. The Dragons have averaged 2.22 goals per game on their travels, and they should add to that in Sunday night’s visit to Guimaraes.

The hosts have lost all three clashes with the Big Three this season in comprehensive fashion. They lost the reverse meeting with Porto 3-0, while they were beaten 3-0 at home by Benfica in November and 4-1 by Sporting Lisbon last month.

While Porto could cover this line on their own, Guimaraes have scored in seven of their nine home matches, netting 14 times.

Cordoba vs Malaga – Malaga to win at 31/10 with bet365

Two of La Liga 2’s form teams meet on Sunday as Cordoba look to extend their winning streak to four games against a Malaga outfit who are looking for a fifth successive victory.

These sides look fairly evenly matched as they are both locked on 32 points, and as 3/1 underdogs the visitors look well worth the risk here.

Malaga are unbeaten in seven in this competition and have won back-to-back road games, including an eye-catching 3-1 win at a decent Gijon outfit in their last trip. Cordoba sit ninth overall but they only have the 14th best home record in the division with just four wins in 10 games, and they look vulnerable against an in-form Los Albicelestes outfit.

Wolves vs Newcastle – Wolves win or draw double chance at 21/20 with bet365

Wolves’ points tally may still be in single digits, but the bottom-placed Premier League side have found a new lease of life of late, and they look good value to extend their unbeaten streak against Newcastle.

Their win over Shrewsbury last weekend made it four games without defeat and they have only lost one of their last seven meetings with Newcastle at Molineux. The Magpies lost the first leg of their League Cup semi-final in midweek and have just two wins in their last nine away assignments.

Celta Vigo vs Rayo Vallecano – Celta Vigo to win at 21/20 with bet365

Surprise packages Celta Vigo and Rayo Vallecano secured European football by finishing seventh and eighth last term and the pair are battling at the right end of La Liga again.

It is Celta who have had the better start, though, starting the weekend seventh and only being kept out of the top six on goal difference, suggesting they should get the better of their visitors.

Vallecano are seven points worse off than their hosts and only basement boys Real Oviedo (nine) have scored fewer goals than their 15, with that lack of firepower likely to cost them in Vigo.

Aston Villa vs Everton – Aston Villa at 4/6 with bet365

Aston Villa drew 0-0 at injury-hit Crystal Palace in their last Premier League fixture but they are immensely strong at Villa Park and should defeat Everton, who have won just once in their last seven games.

Unai Emery’s side are determined to remain in the title race for as long as possible and they took a first step forward in the FA Cup with last Saturday’s 2-1 victory at Tottenham.

Home form has been key for the Villans, who have reeled off 11 straight victories at their West Midlands base.

Villa continue to play with confidence and should have the answers against Everton, who will be without suspended defender Michael Keane, injured midfielder Kieran Dewsbury-Hall and Senegalese pair Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye, who remain on duty at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Ian Wilkerson

AC Milan vs Lecce – AC Milan to win to nil at 5/6 with bet365

No team in Serie A scored fewer goals in their opening 20 matches than Lecce this season and the strugglers look primed to draw another blank in their daunting trip to AC Milan.

There have been just three occasions this season when the visitors have scored more than once and they have found the net just once in their last four league matches on the road.

Milan are looking to keep up the pursuit of city rivals Inter at the top of the table and they have not lost since a surprise home reverse against Cremonese on the opening weekend.

Both teams have scored in five of the Rossoneri’s last seven matches, but four of their six home wins have come without conceding and this could be a match to add to that list.
