With both sides winless after two games, there’s massive pressure on both Man United and Liverpool going into Monday night’s clash.

United are a mess right now, while Liverpool are already trailing in the title race. That’s added to the hype for a huge Monday Night Football clash, so we’ve put together a 79/1 ultimate bet builder which you can back below!

Man United vs Liverpool cheat sheet

Liverpool -1

After United’s 4-0 demolition at the hands of Brentford, it’s no shock that Liverpool head to Old Trafford as heavy favourites. After all, the hosts look to have gone backwards since last season, when they were beaten 9-0 on aggregate against the Reds in the league.

The visitors won by two goals or more in eight of their 13 away wins last season. While they haven’t made the greatest start to the new campaign, the issues which United face should help Liverpool. Back the visitors to win by two goals or more.

Mo Salah to score

With United looking shambolic defensively, all eyes will be on what damage Mo Salah can do on Monday night. The forward has made a solid start by scoring in two of his first three games, while his record against United should scare the hosts.

Salah has scored eight goals across his last four meetings with United. He ran riot with a hat-trick in this fixture last season, so back him to score at least once against the Red Devils.

Trent Alexander-Arnold to make an assist

Brentford exposed United from set pieces in their last game and Liverpool can do the same at Old Trafford. That could benefit Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is set to be on corner and free-kick duty.

Alexander-Arnold hasn’t made an assist so far this season but I expect that to change. His Expected Assists per 90 minutes is 0.47 after two games, while the full-back finished last term with 12 Premier League assists.

Fabinho 1+ shot on target

With Trent set to whip the ball in from set pieces, Fabinho stands as one of the most likely beneficiaries of United’s weaknesses there. The Brazilian has height and aerial ability on his side, while he scored three set piece goals last season. Back him to have a shot on target at Old Trafford.

Lisandro Martinez to be carded

Liverpool should look to target Martinez, who has come in for criticism after a poor start to life at United. He was booked on his debut and Brentford ran rings around the so-called Butcher of Amsterdam. Ahead of his biggest test in a United shirt, back Martinez for a caution.
