Ashley Young – Inter Milan
Manchester United’s Ashley Young has ended his eight-and-a-half-year spell at Old Trafford, with a switch to Inter Milan. The former Aston Villa man is set to give Inter more cover at wing-back in their 3-5-2 system, with Young able to play on either flank.
The former winger has joined the Serie A giants on a six-month deal, costing Inter £1.2million. Harry Maguire has been handed the captain’s armband following Young’s departure.
Young is reportedly being readied for his debut in Inter’s clash on Sunday, which we’ve previewed in our Lecce vs Inter Milan Predictions.
Javier Hernandez – LA Galaxy
Former Manchester United and West Ham forward Chicharito has made the move to MLS, where he has become the league’s highest paid player. Mexico’s top international scorer is set to fill the gap left by Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front for the Galaxy.
Jarrod Bowen – Newcastle
Hull face a battle to retain forward Jarrod Bowen, as Newcastle are hoping he can solve their attacking problems. The forward has been in fine form with Hull in the Championship, leading to a £20million price tag.
While Newcastle may stop short of offering that for the wide-man, the Telegraph are claiming that they will bid for Bowen this month to test Hull’s resolve.
Valentino Lazaro – Newcastle
It seems like Newcastle are doubling down in their chase for an attacking player. They are interested in Valentino Lazaro at Inter Milan, who is set to move on after failing to make an impact after his summer move.
Lazaro is a winger who Inter tried at wing-back, but he could move forward if this move to Newcastle comes off. The Daily Star are linking the Toon with an £18million move for the 23-year-old Austrian.
Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United
This one is really dragging on, with Sporting now unhappy with Manchester United’s latest offer. Sporting – who played Fernandes in their loss to Benfica on Friday – were offered an initial £35million, potentially rising to £60million.
However, The Sun claims that United’s clauses include payments for Fernandes winning the Ballon d’Or, or the midfielder lifting the Champions League with the club. That’s angered the Portuguese side, who don’t expect those requirements to be met.
Victor Moses – Inter Milan
Fresh from adding Young to his side, Antonio Conte has identified Victor Moses as his next target. Strengthening out wide is a key aim for the Nerazzurri, while Conte is hoping to link up with Moses once again.
The winger became an integral part of Conte’s plans at Chelsea as a wing-back, which is where he’d play at Inter. Moses is currently on loan at Fenerbahce, but the Daily Mail’s report claims they would allow him to leave to complete the move.
Issa Diop – Chelsea
West Ham’s centre-half Issa Diop has played down talk of a move to one of the Premier League’s big boys. The defender has written off any plans to move according to France Football, with both Chelsea and Manchester United interested.
Roberto – Alaves
One man who is leaving West Ham is goalkeeper Roberto, who won’t be short of lifts to the airport. The goalkeeper has had an infamously tough time this term. That’s coming to an end, with The Guardian reporting that he’s heading to Alaves – with the Hammers paying 75% of his wages to get him out.
