Serie A 2026/27 outright predictions with 1/1, 8/1 & 10/11 tips!

The arrival of two English World Cup stars in Appiano Gentile should increase the focus on Serie A when the Italian campaign kicks off with Inter Milan as defending champions.
Cristian Chivu’s side secured their 21st Scudetto last term, their third in six years, and will look to fend off any challenges from the usual suspects and intriguing upstarts Como.
Serie A Outright Predictions
Inter to win Serie A at 1/1
The reigning champions enter the campaign as deserved favourites after toppling Napoli last season.
The Partenopei moved on from Antonio Conte’s turbulent reign and gave the keys to what is probably still Serie A’s best engine room to Massimiliano Allegri.
However, they still look short of a top-class striker and transfer activity has been slow, so the potential for them to close an 11-point gap looks slim at the moment.
Likewise, Juventus still seem a few players short of a sustained title challenge and Como, although they finished impressively to grab fourth, must now deal with playing in the Champions League too.
It, therefore, should be plain sailing for Inter to retain their crown with a few new faces to freshen up the squad.
Denzel Dumfries, Stefan de Vrij, Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi and Yann Sommer have all departed — but the core remains intact.
Key additions include John Stones, arriving on a free from Manchester City, Djed Spence as Dumfries’ replacement and goalkeeper Ivan Provedel from Lazio.
Midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic is the future heartbeat of the side and could nail down a regular starting place by the end of the season while, with Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram leading the line, they are not going to be short of goals.
Recent history shows how hard it is to retain the Scudetto — Juventus were the last to do it in 2019‑20 — but Inter’s continuity, depth and identity make them the most reliable outright pick.
Fiorentina to finish in the top four at 8/1
Fiorentina were one of Serie A’s biggest underperformers last season, flirting with relegation after four straight finishes between sixth and eighth. Stefano Pioli lasted just ten winless league games before Paolo Vanoli steadied the ship.
The appointment of Fabio Grosso, who takes charge after guiding Sassuolo to a comfortable mid‑table finish, brings renewed optimism and La Viola have not been shy to back their new coach.
Around €97m has been spent on Viery, Arthur Atta, Christ Inao Oulai, Victor Valdepeñas, Marco Brescianini and Giovanni Fabbian, while Radu Dragusin, Joao Mario and Alex Jimenez arrive on loan.
One of the most ambitious rebuilds in Italy could reap an unexpected return of a Champions League place if one or two of the big boys slip up.
Roma in the Season Match Bet v AC Milan at 10/11
Roma returned to the Champions League last season with a third‑place finish under Gian Piero Gasperini, who has stabilised the club and built a clear tactical identity.
Crucially, the owners have not sold any major assets, allowing Gasperini to retain a spine of Gianluca Mancini, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Paulo Dybala.
The acquisitions of Santiago Castro and Konstantinos Koulierakis look shrewd and with Nahuel Molina strengthening the right flank. Roma’s squad looks balanced, competitive and built for both domestic and European campaigns.
AC Milan, meanwhile, enter a period of transition under new boss Ruben Amorim.
The Rossoneri have recruited aggressively, adding Gonçalo Ramos, Gila, and several youth prospects.
But they need to ship out a lot of players deemed surplus to Amorim’s requirements and, having seen how this story played out for him at Manchester United, Milan fans and the Portuguese coach’s bosses will have to stay patient in their quest to return to Italy’s top table.
Roma’s stability versus Milan’s volatility makes the season match bet an appealing angle.
