23rd Sept - Blue Jays vs Yankees

The first two games of the series have been classics and after last night’s dramatic extra innings finish, the Blue Jays and the Yankees are still separated by just two and a half games. It all comes down to Wednesday night when either New York will close the gap, or Toronto can extend it to three and a half games. Either way, the AL East division race appears to be set for an exciting finish.

Ivan Nova’s stay in the bullpen was short-lived. After a few tough outings, Nova appeared to have lost his position in the rotation, but an injury to Tanaka has forced him back into action for one of the most important games of the season for the Yankees too far. It’s been a tough up and down season for Nova, who has the tendency to get hit hard. On paper, he doesn’t look like a pitcher that will match up well against Toronto’s line-up at Rogers Centre.

Marcus Stroman has appeared in just two games since spring training and looks like the pitcher many predicted he would be heading into the preseason.

Three Reasons for Betting Tips

1. Unpredictable game

In a game like this, we don’t like to open up too many betting tips. We think that the Blue Jays will find a way to record a win this match-up, though perhaps New York keeps it closer than they should.
