AaB vs Midtjylland Predictions

• AaB are unbeaten in their last five home league matches, winning four.
• The visitors have won just one of their last five league games stretching back to last season and lost 1-2 against OB on the opening weekend.

Last season’s runners-up FC Midtjylland were turned over 1-2 by OB on the opening weekend and Bo Henriksen’s side could be worth opposing for their trip to Aalborg this Saturday.

Midtjylland agonisngly failed to defend their title by a single point last season after winning just one of their last four games and Ulvene got off to the worst possible start on the opening day as OB snatched an injury time winner at MCH Arena.

They face a tricky test this Saturday away to an AaB outfit who have won four and drawn one of their last five home league starts and it comes just three days after their midweek trip to face Celtic in UEFA Champions League Qualifying.

Midtjylland secured a tremendous 1-1 draw at Celtic Park to put themselves in charge of that tie, but this could be a difficult turnaround so early in the season and Henriksen’s charges will also have one eye on next week’s crucial second leg.

While AaB’s string of home wins towards the end of last term came in the Relegation Round, they’re clearly a useful team at Portland Park and will be buoyed by an away draw against FC Copenhagen last weekend.

Taking everything into account, we’re siding with AaB in the draw no bet market for this one and we think Marti Cifuentes’ men could sneak victory via a 2-1 score-line.
