Bournemouth to Build Further Against the Millers

Rotherham United have won their last three Championship fixtures on the road but that run could well come to an end on Wednesday against a Bournemouth side on the up under Caretaker Manager Jonathan Woodgate.

Following a dismal run of four straight league defeats, Bournemouth have picked up four points from their last two league outings under Woodgate, either side of a fine 0-2 FA Cup success away to Premier League outfit Burnley.

There’s clearly still plenty of room for improvement for the Cherries, but they will view this fixture against fourth-bottom Rotherham as a decent opportunity to build further momentum and solidify their position in the top six.

Rotherham have been in great shape on their travels of late, however all three of their recent away wins came against teams who were either badly struggling or just generally poor on their own turf this season.

The Millers were beaten 1-2 by Cardiff City at the New York Stadium on Saturday and we think they’ll go down by the same score-line here to hand Bournemouth their ninth home league win of the campaign.
