Tadic to lead Ajax to victory

Ajax put in another devastating attacking performance on Sunday as they thrashed Heracles 5-0 in the Eredivisie, and they’re understandably big favourites as they head into this crucial Champions League clash.

Victory on Wednesday could see them move three points clear of Atalanta in the race for qualification to the knockout stages, and with Midtjylland losing all four of their group games so far victory is what is expected of the Dutch giants.

Ajax have won five of their last six games in all competitions and scored an incredible 30 goals in the process, including a ludicrous 13-0 destruction of VVV last month. With Midtjylland shipping eight goals in their three games so far backing Ajax to bag at least three looks good value.

The Danish underdogs have found the net in each of their last five matches though and Ajax have conceded in three of their last five, so a 3-1 correct score prediction is another attractive option.

We’re also expecting Dusan Tadic to play a key role in a home win. The former Southampton man has been in incredible form for Ajax this season and heads into this game having scored in six of his last seven appearances.
