Girona’s miraculous season reached a new high on Saturday as they beat Barcelona 4-2 to move back up to second in the standings, while simultaneously confirming they will be playing Champions League football next term.

It truly had been a season to remember for Michel’s side and they could be forgiven if they suffer something of hangover when they visit Alaves, especially as their away form of late has been poor.
