Armenia to pick up another win

Armenia host Romania in Yerevan on Wednesday with both sides hoping to add three points to their Group J tally.

Armenia got off to the perfect start to their campaign with a 1-0 win over Leichtenstein followed by a 2-0 over Iceland which sees them sitting joint top of the group with Germany. The side will be delighted with their start and will be fully motivated to end this international period with nine points from nine.

Romania were unable to follow up their good 3-2 win over North Macedonia when they played Germany at the weekend but the 1-0 loss was a lot closer than many predicted it would be. Another win here would see Romania move level on points with their opponents leaving Group J looking very open ahead of the next set of fixtures.

Armenia are yet to concede a goal in this qualifying campaign and we can see that continuing with the hosts looking very comfortable in defence. We also think that they continue their excellent start to their qualifying campaign and we’re backing both teams to not score in this game.
