Hosts Arminia Bielefeld welcomes a wounded beast in the shape of Bayern Munich to the Schüco Arena but will be fearing the worst. Bielefeld has not won a single Bundesliga game since they achieved a victory over Union Berlin back in February and of the six games they have played since they’ve lost five of those. Frank Kramers men just have not performed this season and they’ve won just two of their 14 home matches this season. Currently occupying the relegation playoff place, it would be a major shock if they were to cause an upset here.

Bayern Munich’s hearts were broken on Tuesday night as an 88th Villarreal equaliser saw the Bavarian giants dumped out of the Champions League. Julian Nagelsmann watched on as his side dominate proceedings and absolute pepper the Villarreal goal. But the yellow submarine soaked up the pressure and picked their moment perfectly as they found the back of the net with their only shot on target. A win here would essentially guarantee them yet another Bundesliga title and they’ll be desperate to bounce back with a bang after their midweek woes.

Rampant Bayern to come back with a bang

We fear for the hosts. Bayern are a wounded animal and that’s when they’re most dangerous. The visitors will want to get that Champions League defeat out of their system and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them put a few goals past Arminia. However, we don’t think the hosts will see enough of the ball to create anything, particularly given the contrast in quality between the two sides. We’ll take Bayern to win and keep a clean sheet.
