Hosts tough to beat on home soil

Atletico Mineiro are unbeaten in their last seven home matches across all competitions, a run that includes a 2-0 victory over Corinthians when the two sides met in the Copa do Brasil back in May – although Corinthians did get their revenge in the reverse fixture.

Luiz Felipe Scolari’s side are certainly hard to beat on home soil, but they are not impenetrable, as they have failed to keep a clean sheet across any of their last five games.

Corinthians have lost six of their last seven away matches, but the exception in that run was a recent victory at Santos, which should give them hope of at least getting on the scoresheet on Saturday.
