Germany head into this meeting with Austria on Sunday knowing that a slip could knock them out, despite their fine start to the tournament. The Germans are aiming to edge into the semi-finals with a third win, as they know that Denmark and Austria are breathing down their neck. While a point would suit the defending champions, Austria have to win to have any chance of going through to the next round. The defending champions have landed in the easiest of the three groups, but their sustained success at this age group is hard to fault. This is an almost entirely new crop of players from two years ago, but they are just as strong this time around.
