Eintracht Frankfurt Draw No Bet

Reason for tip

It has been a dismal start to the season for Bayer Leverkusen, who have taken just one point from their opening two Bundesliga fixtures and have already replaced Erik ten Hag with Kasper Hjulmand. The Dane faces a tough opener against a Frankfurt side on an eight-game unbeaten run, however, and the visitors should spoil his welcome party.

Eintracht Frankfurt 3-1

Reason for tip

Goals are often a feature of Frankfurt’s games, with each of their last five seeing over 3.5 land as a winning bet, so expect a thriller in Leverkusen. Bayer will be looking to make a perfect start under Hjulmand and can play their part in a goalfest.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Eintracht Frankfurt Predictions

  • Bayer Leverkusen are without a win in five Bundesliga games
  • Eintracht Frankfurt are unbeaten in eight matches, winning five times in that run
  • The visitors have scored 11 goals while winning their last three away games

New manager Hjulmand hoping to stop the rot

If you thought Erik ten Hag’s time at Manchester United was bad, Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director Simon Rolfes stating that “hiring Ten Hag was an error but letting him continue would have been an even bigger mistake” after just two Bundesliga games means his short spell in North Rhine-Westphalia must be considered a disaster.

The Dutchman’s replacement, former Denmark boss Kasper Hjulmand, takes over a side short on confidence after a loss to Hoffenheim and a draw at Werder Bremen and also one which was decimated over the summer.

Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Granit Xhaka are only three of many big-name departures and it may take a while for the Dane to rebuild a team which looks immensely different from the one which won the Bundesliga just over 12 months ago.

Frankfurt fancied to take the points

That leaves them looking like vulnerable favourites ahead of Friday’s visit from Frankfurt, who have shown no such problems in replacing key figures, winning their opening two Bundesliga matches 4-1 and 3-1 despite losing star striker Hugo Ekitike to Liverpool.

Eintracht are now unbeaten in eight matches and look poised to spoil Hjulmand’s BayArena welcome party on Friday, having won each of their last four games.

With an odds-against price available for Frankfurt draw no bet, take the insurance bet in case Hjulmand, who led Denmark to the semi-finals at Euro 2020, does get an immediate tune out of a talented group.
