Belshina Bobruisk vs Dinamo Brest Predictions
- Belshina Bobruisk drew two of their last three games.
- Dinamo Brest scored at least once in six of their last eight matches.
- Belshina Bobruisk are still searching for their first clean sheet of the campaign?
Both clubs have made poor starts
Two of the Belorussian Premier League’s current bottom three clash at the Stadyen Spartak on Sunday when Belshina Bobruisk host Dinamo Brest.
With the new season still in its infancy, it’s a little early to be talking about relegation six-pointers, though both clubs will be keen to improve on their shared underwhelming starts to the 2020 campaign.
Newly promoted Belshina would have expected to find the transition to Premier League football tough this year, though their return of just two points from their opening six fixtures still represents a poor haul
Belshina show signs of life
Eduard Gradoboyev’s charges have displayed signs that they are beginning to get to grips with life in the top flight however, taking single points in successive games against Neman Grodno and Smolevichy-STI before pushing the early pace setters Slutsk all the way in their latest run out.
Belshina traded blows with the league leaders on their own patch before they eventually lost 3-2, with the deciding goal conceded just two minutes from time. The division’s new boys have now hit the net in each of their last three contests, and we expect them to extend that scoring streak further on Sunday.
Their opponents, Dinamo Brest, arrive bearing the weight of three defeats on the spin, though their 4-2 mid-week Cup semi final second leg reverse at Shakhtyor wasn’t enough to deny them a place in next month’s final thanks a superior aggregate score.
With a cup final place in the bag, Dinamo should arrive in Bobruisk in high spirits, and having notched at least one goal in six of their last eight, they should carry enough attacking threat to get themselves on the scoresheet again this weekend.
Goals at both ends likely
Belshina are still searching for their first clean sheet of the season, and while their record suggests they aren’t capable of keeping a buoyant Dinamo out, their edge in forward areas looks sharp enough to carve open the visitor’s defence at the other end.
Both teams found the net in 100% of Bobruisk’s last three assignments, and with the aforementioned factors considered, the same market hold interest at the available prices.
We expect Bobruisk to harness the momentum from their improved form to avoid defeat for the third time in four games on Sunday too. There should be enough tiredness in Dinamo’s legs after their mid-week cup runout for the hosts to take advantage of and we think the sides will share the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
