Blackburn Rovers vs Leeds Predictions
It hasn’t been a great season for either club but Blackburn have hit some form of later particularly at Ewood and it was much needed too given they were in danger of slipping into relegation trouble. They’ve won 3 of their last 4 in the league and all of their last 4 home matches in the Championship with Fulham, MK Dons, Middlesbrough and most recently Birmingham their victims. They’d not previously won 4 successive home games in this league since winning promotion way back in the 2000-2001 season so it is some run that they are on and Paul Lambert looks to doing a solid job in building towards next season.
Leeds come in to this off a good result too. They were surprise 2-0 winners at Cardiff in midweek following on from a 2-1 win over Bolton last weekend. With a few teams below them in good form, they were important wins too and Leeds are 1 place and 1 point better off then Blackburn in 15th. Both clubs could probably do with a couple more wins to guarantee they are in this league next term and both should be capable of getting them.
Blackburn almost out of nowhere have started scoring goals and they have netted twice or more in all of their last 4 league home games. Leeds had taken just 1 point from their 4 away games prior to their midweek win and had been battered 4-0 at Brighton in their most recent away match. Indeed prior to last weekend they had only won 1 league match since Boxing Day so it is Rovers who come into this in the better form overall and given their recent showings at Ewood and their excellent record against Leeds, backing Blackburn to win 2-0 at 6/1 looks a tempting bet here.
