Blackpool vs Fulham Predictions
- Joint leaders Fulham have amassed 13 points from their first five league games.
- Blackpool have picked up just two points from their opening five matches, losing both of their home starts so far.
Fulham to inflict further misery upon struggling Seasiders
Blackpool have endured an extremely difficult start to life back in the Championship and they massively up against it this Saturday when they welcome joint leaders Fulham to Bloomfield Road.
Save for a commendable 2-2 draw at AFC Bournemouth on their penultimate outing, The Seasiders have looked way out of their depth in the second tier, and they go into this weekend’s clash with The Cottagers third bottom in the early standings.
Neil Critchley’s side have picked up just two points from a possible 15 in total, and they’ve been beaten in both of their outings at Bloomfield Road thus far without scoring.
Blackpool are second favourites in the relegation market, and they could be taught a real lesson here by the promotion jollies.
Fulham may be establishing a reputation as a classic yo-yo club, but despite struggling at the top level on their two recent forays into the Premier League, The Cottagers really do look too good for this division.
Marco Silva’s arrival has given the club fresh new impetus and they’ve made a near perfect start to the campaign, winning four and drawing one. They’ve smashed in 13 goals already including three when demolishing Stoke prior to the international break, and we envisage a similar outcome at Bloomfield Road this weekend.
Fulham are perhaps no more than fairly priced at 4/7, but they’re our confident selection for this encounter and a 0-3 score-line also appeals.
