Bohemians vs Stjarnan Predictions
BETTING TIP – BOHEMIANS TO WIN
CORRECT SCORE – BOHEMIANS 4-0
- Bohemians have won their last six home games.
- Bohemians have five wins in their last eight games overall.
- Stjarnan have just one win in their last seven away games.
Bohs can make most of home advantage
Irish outfit Bohemians take on Stjarnan of Iceland in Europa Conference League qualifying on Thursday.
This tie remains finely poised after a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Iceland, and their strong home form suggests they can claim a key win on Thursday as they seek a place in the next qualification round.
Bohemians have won their last six home games but for this tie they will be playing at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin rather than their usual Dalymount Park home. That does add an element of uncertainty to the tie, but essentially this is still a home game for the Dublin club and we expect that to be a significant advantage.
Stjarnan’s Emil Atlason opened the scoring in the first half of the first leg but the Bohs were the more adventurous side throughout and that was the Icelandic club’s only shot on target from five attempts. Bohemians created 12 chances in total, with three on target, and we feel with home advantage in the return fixture they can come through fairly comfortably.
Bohemians have six wins in a row at home and have scored an impressive 21 goals during that run, conceding just three. The Irish outfit have scored at least four goals in three of those fixtures and we feel that they can get the better of Stjarnan by a fairly big margin and a 4-0 home win looks worth some consideration in the correct score market.
