Dortmund can end Bayern dominance

Borussia Dortmund only need a win to end a decade-long spell of Bayern Munich dominance in the Bundesliga and I expect them to secure the title in style as they face a Mainz side with nothing to play for.

Mainz sit a comfortable ninth in the table heading into the final day and seem to have downed tools over the last few weeks, losing each of their last four games and conceding some 13 goals in the process.

The hosts thrashed Augsburg 3-0 last time out and are unbeaten in seven league matches, winning five of those and scoring 24 goals.

Haller to fire BvB to title

Their last three outings have seen them win by at least a three-goal margin and Mainz have lost by a three-goal margin in three of their last four, so I’m backing Dortmund to romp to the title in front of a raucous SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, with a 3-0 correct score prediction preferred after Mainz conceded exactly three goals in three of their last four games, including two 3-0 losses.

I’m also backing Sebastian Haller to fire his team to the Bundesliga trophy after finding some form in recent weeks. He scored twice against Augsburg and now has five goals across his last three outings.
