      Brommapojkarna vs Dalkurd Predictions

This is a massive match at the bottom end of the Swedish Allsvenskan. It sees the bottom two meet and the losers on Saturday will already feel like they are teetering on the brink of relegation but if either Brommapojkarna or Dalkurd can claim all three points, they will at least have something tangible from which to build.

There hasn’t been much to cheer up fans of either team in recent weeks. Brommapojkarna have lost all four games since the summer break and boss Luís Berkemeier Pimenta must now be a worried man with things having not gone to plan since he took over in the winter. One of those defeats was against Dalkurd too but they will fancy with home advantage this time, it could be a very different matter.

When Dalkurd beat Brommapojkarna 3-0 at the start of July, they appeared to have a real platform to move on from but it has hardly been a case of onwards and upwards since. They’ve taken just 1 point from their 3 games following that one. 2 of those 3 games were against fellow bottom four teams too so they will feel as though they’ve missed a good chance to at least get out of the drop-zone. A 3-1 home defeat to fellow strugglers Sirius last weekend would have been a particularly bitter pill to swallow.

The bookies are struggling to call this one and it’s fair to say that these are both poor teams who will do well to beat the drop. However there looks to be far more value with the hosts here. Dalkurd have been woeful travellers this term, collecting just 1 point on the road from 8 matches. They’ve been weak at both ends of the pitch with their away fixtures seeing them score just 0.75 goals per game and concede 2.38.

Brommapojkarna’s Grimsta IP may not have exactly been a fortress but it has been their only source of points. All of Brommapojkarna’s 10 points this term have come at home and a 43% home win ratio is actually pretty good, taking into account their overall position in the league and how bad they’ve been in some games.

Therefore it’s slightly surprising to see Dalkurd in as short as they are for the win given that and given Dalkurd’s own nightmare away record. The visitors are also missing two players to suspension so overall backing a Brommapojkarna Win looks like it could be the value bet here but don’t be surprised if both these sides are playing second tier football next term.
