Under 2.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

These sides have scored just 20 goals in 22 combined respective home and away games this season, with Burnley holding the league’s worst home record and Fulham the league’s second-worst away record. The Clarets have seen fewer than three goals in each of their last three at home.

Draw 1-1

Reason for tip

Burnley played out a 1-1 draw in their last home match and face a Fulham side that have drawn three of their last ten Premier League away days. These sides have won just once apiece in their respective home and away matches.

Burnley vs Fulham Predictions

  • These sides have scored just 20 goals in 22 combined respective home and away games.
  • Under 2.5 goals has landed in each of Burnley’s last three home league matches.

Clarets in trouble

Burnley fell to an expected defeat at the Etihad in midweek and the Premier League’s second-lowest scoring side could drop more points in a drab affair at Turf Moor.

The Clarets have scored just 22 goals from their 22 games so far, leaving them second-bottom in the table and already seven points adrift of safety.

Cottagers struggle on their travels

They come up against a Fulham side also in poor form, with Marco Silva’s side drawing at home to Everton in their midweek fixture to leave them with just four points from their last six games.

The Cottagers sit 12th in the table but are still only seven points clear of the drop zone, while they have the second-worst away record in the top flight.

Goals at a premium at Turf Moor

The visitors have picked up only six points from a possible 33 on the road, scoring nine times in total. Burnley, who harbour the Premier League’s worst home record, have just four points at Turf Moor.

These sides have scored a total of 20 goals in 22 respective home and away games. Under 2.5 goals has landed in each of Burnley’s last three home matches, so I’m backing another low-scoring affair on Saturday.

I do expect the spoils to be shared here, too. Burnley’s last home league game ended 1-1 and they face a Fulham side that have drawn three of their last ten league away days, so a 1-1 correct score prediction appeals.
