Cadiz vs Getafe Predictions

Relegation-threatened duo could cancel each other out

Only a point separates Cadiz and Getafe in the La Liga standings and the bottom-half pair could be tough to separate when they clash at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.

Both sides are hovering above the relegation zone in La Liga but, based on recent form, neither have had the look of teams floundering in a division’s lower echelons.

Cadiz have lost only one of their last four games, winning both of their home games in that run against Girona and Rayo Vallecano, losing 2-0 on the road to Barcelona and holding Real Sociedad to a 0-0 draw last time out.

As for Getafe, they have lost only one of their last five assignments and are fresh from a 3-2 win over Girona at the start of the month.

Both sides have found ways to grind out points of late but neither are consistent enough to warrant backing to win this so a draw looks a likely outcome, especially given that they shared the spoils back in November.

That said, it should not be short of entertainment and 1-1 looks a decent correct score prediction.
