Cagliari vs Torino Predictions

Take both teams to get a goal when Cagliari host Torino in Serie A on Sunday. Both teams have scored in five of the last seven meetings between these sides and, in their last encounter in December, both had also scored by the break.

Torino are four places above Cagliari in the table, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. The hosts are 16th with nine wins and 17 defeats, while the visitors are 12th with 12 wins and 16 losses.

Cagliari have been in patchy form recently, with two wins, one draw and three defeats in their last six Serie A games. Torino were 2-1 winners against Sassuolo in their last league game last week.

Both teams have been struggling defensively of late, with Cagliari conceding in five of their last seven home games and Torino failing to keep a clean sheet in five of their last seven visits to Cagliari.

A 2-1 away win for Torino looks a decent correct-score bet. Cagliari have been poor at home, and while both teams have lost several matches on the road, Torino’s last two Serie A wins have both come via a 2-1 scoreline.
