Coventry vs Bristol City Predictions

Coventry can get back on track at home

Coventry suffered a first home defeat of the season in midweek as they went down 2-1 to Swansea but can bounce back when Bristol City visit on Saturday.

 The Sky Blues won their first five games of the season at the Coventry Building Society Arena but bottom club Derby ended that with a 1-1 draw, before the Swans became the first team to deny them any points on home soil.

Bristol City look there for the taking though after five defeats in their last seven games.  The Robins did manage to win the other two fixtures, but those successes came against Barnsley and Peterborough and Coventry are a level above the struggling duo – particularly at home.

The visitors were in good form on their travels not too long ago but recently their form has dipped and they have three defeats in their last four on the road.

Coventry won the corresponding fixture 3-1 in April last season and a repeat result is the correct score selection here.  The Robins have conceded three goals in each of their last two trips, but have only failed to score in three of their eight away games and Coventry have managed just the one clean sheet in their last six games.
