Napoli have now won seven consecutive games, scoring 21 goals in that sequence, and they will be supremely confident of maintaining their form against struggling Cremonese on Sunday.

Luciano Spalletti’s team managed 26 shots on goal as they swatted the Eredivisie giants aside in midweek, and have now beaten a -1 handicap six times in all competitions this season. The likes of Liverpool, Rangers, and a usually solid Torino team are among those to be well beaten by Napoli this season, and their tally of 14.9 expected goals (xG) is Serie A’s second-best this term. The Partenopei have averaged more shots per game (18.9) than any other Serie A team this season, and should get plenty of joy against Cremonese.

Indeed, only Sampdoria (16) have conceded more goals than Cremonese (15) in Serie A this season, and only Spezia have allowed opponents more attempts at goal than the newly promoted side have in 2022-23.
