Losing to the Italian champions is no disgrace and Sassuolo’s dominance of Serie B last term suggests the second-tier champions should be respected, but a home win is favoured in this contest.

Cremonese won 4-1 at the Black & Greens last term, but they were held to a 1-1 draw back on home soil in May. It’s four wins apiece from their ten meetings so another tight encounter can be expected on Friday.
