Denmark vs Bosnia And Herzegovina Predictions

  • Denmark have won without conceding seven times in their last ten internationals.
  • Bosnia-Herzegovina have not scored in four of their last five internationals.
  • Denmark scored 78% of their goals in Euro 2020 qualifying in the second half and 63% of their Nations League goals came after half-time.

Back Danes to bully Bosnia on handicap

Six days from their opening Euro 2020 group game against Finland, Denmark take on Bosnia-Herzegovina in their final warm-up game.

Having experimented with his line-up during the 1-1 draw with Germany earlier this week, coach  Kasper Hjulmand is expected to start the eleven players he intends to field against the Finns.

Although on the face of it a draw with their neighbours to the south was a decent result, the performance was widely condemned in Denmark as the worst of Hjulmand’s reign.

The Danes are currently two places above Germany in the Fifa rankings and go into the Euros as the continent’s seventh-best team.

They usually play according to that status too with a 4-3-3 set-up that doesn’t lack creativity in midfield.

Christian Eriksen can be the man to unlock the visitors defence for Jonas Wind – likely to start in the central striker’s role flanked by Martin Braithwaite and Andreas Skov Olsen.

Bosnia-Herzegovina travel to Brondby without all their big names such as Miralem Pjanic, Edin Dzeko, Asmir Begovic, Muhamed Besic, Toni Sinjic and Sead Kolasinac.

An under-strength line-up played out a drab goalless draw with Montenegro on Wednesday and the same standard of display would not escape without punishment against Denmark.

The hosts can return to winning ways with ease in this fixture and we should see them dominate from the off.

But, because such as high percentage of their competitive goals have come in the second halves of their games, we prefer Denmark -1 on the three-way handicap to the double result.

A resounding 3-0 win should propel the Danish Dynamite to the finals in confident mood.
