Inverness have won both the Scottish Cup and League Cup in the last decade and they reached the final of the former last season, losing 3-1 to treble winners Celtic.

Billy Dodds’ side have already opened the new campaign with a cup victory, beating Bonnyrigg 2-1 and they will now expect to make it back-to-back victories when they visit Dumbarton.

Caley Thistle were certainly good travellers last season, as no team picked up more away points in the Scottish Championship, a tally that was boosted as they won their final three road games of the league campaign.
