Eibar’s safety is guaranteed and although they have struggled over the Second half of the season they can more than reflect on a good season and will be in the top flight for a 3rd year in a row next term, which for such a small club is an incredible achievement. They have won only 1 of their last 12 games though so they aren’t playing entirely convincing football right now but given a win here will almost certainly propel them into the top half they have plenty of motivation to get the 3 points here.

Real Betis need only 1 point to guarantee their safety although realistically they are almost certainly already safe with a 6 point cushion on the bottom 3 and only 2 games to go. Betis have lost their last two games both by 2-0 margins against Sevilla and Barcelona and have only won 1 of their last 13 away games having dove very well on the road earlier in the season. Given they were promoted only last year, it has been a decent campaign from Betis but they do have the worst goalscoring record in the division and will need to get re-enforcements in that regard over the summer months.

This game really has the feel of a draw. Eibar have stopped winning and Betis aren’t winning away from home any more. The visitors would certainly take a point and it wouldn’t be a disaster for Eibar either so if the game is level going into the closing stages it’s unlikely either side will take any great risks to try and win the game, therefore backing this to finish in a 1-1 draw at 11/2 might be the way to go.
