Eibar vs Real Sociedad Betting Tips & Predictions

Real Sociedad enjoyed a fine win over Barcelona last weekend to continue their great record at home to the Catalans. It moved them up to 9th place in La Liga and they have enjoyed some impressive wins over the past few months including their victory at Sevilla in their last away match which ended the hosts 17 match winning streak on home soil. The problem for Sociedad has been inconsistency and their tendency to slip up against the lesser sides so they will have to be wary here but confidence must be high after their last two wins that any of the top sides in Europe would have struggled to pull off.

These two clubs have almost mirrored what happened last year when Eibar started much the stronger but fell away dramatically while Real Sociedad gradually improved as the season went on. Eibar have enough points on the board that relegation shouldn’t be a threat this term but a run of just 5 points from 12 league games, 9 of which have been defeats, is concerning nonetheless.
