Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich Betting Tips

Eintracht Frankfurt started the new campaign with a pretty decent run of only one loss in their opening five league games.

But that has unravelled a bit, and they are currently in a period of poor form where they have won just once in their last seven matches in all competitions.

The most recent of these was a 1-0 loss to Germany 3. Liga side Erzebirge Aue in the DFP Pokal on Tuesday; Frankfurt’s 4^th loss in six matches.

This poor form has seen them start to slip down the Bundesliga table, and they now sit in 12^th position with 12 points from their opening ten games.

Bayern Munich aren’t a team you want to face at any time, and especially so when you find yourself in a poor spell of form.

The Bundesliga champions have started the season in emphatic style, winning all ten of their league games so far and scoring 33 times en route.

Their only competitive loss of the season came at the Emirates last week, when Arsenal somehow managed to get a 2-0 win in the Champions League. They have won all of their 14 other competitive fixtures.

Last season’s runners up Wolfsburg couldn’t stop them from progressing in the DFP Pokal on Tuesday, falling to a 3-1 defeat on home turf thanks to Thomas Muller scoring his 2^nd and 3^rd goals in his last two games.

Muller’s total Bundesliga count for this season stands at ten goals already, but even that isn’t good enough for him to lead the scoring charts. Robert Lewandowski has 13 to his name, helped enormously by his five goal haul earlier in the season.

Bayern Munich have won seven of their ten Bundesliga games by three goals or more so far this season, with five of the last six ending this way. This makes odds of 1.800 for a Bayern Munich -2 Asian Handicap look really good value to me, so that’s where the majority of my bet is going.
