Elche to earn another positive result

Elche deservedly bagged their first win of the season at Getafe on Monday night and Los Franjiverdes are fancied to follow-up with another positive result against poor travellers Levante this Saturday evening.

It’s fair to say that Elche have been mightily impressive in the opening exchanges of the campaign, and they’ve looked a far cry from the side that only narrowly escaped relegation last term.

While their tally of five points to date seems mediocre on the face of things, it actually represents a very good haul when you consider they faced Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla and champions Atletico Madrid prior to Monday’s fixture against Los Azulones.
