      Everton vs Swansea Predictions

Everton’s attacking play has been scintillating this season, with Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley leading the line with 21 Premier League goals and 12 assists between them after 22 matches.

However, their defence has let them down time and time again, and they are struggling to pick up three points due to this. This has brought Roberto Martinez under a bit of pressure from the Goodison Park faithful.

Everton come into this match having not lost any of their last five matches, but only two of these have ended in an Everton victory.

They have had to play the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea during this period though, so draws aren’t bad results at all considering their fixtures.

But their lack of winning mentality has left them in a very disappointing 11th place in the Premier League.

Swansea are having a terrible season though, with their shocking form over the past few months seeing them occupy a precarious 17th position with just one point separating them from the drop zone.

Their 1-0 win over Watford last weekend kept them out of the bottom three for another week, but with just two wins from their last 13 matches in all competitions they are unlikely to be safe for long unless they can turn it around.

Eight of these 13 games have been defeats, and their lacklustre attack is unlikely to trouble even the poor Everton back line.

The last three meetings between these two sides have ended all square, but I don’t see Swansea having much of a chance against a free scoring Everton side on Saturday. The visitors have conceded nine goals in their last four matches and have lost five of their last six away matches.

This makes odds of 8/11 for an Everton win look very attractive indeed, and I’m going for that along with a comfortable 3-0 victory for the hosts at 12/1.
