Falkenbergs FF vs GIF Sundsvall Predictions

Sweden’s Allsvenskan is now starting to take shape and although there is still plenty of time remaining in the campaign, there are already sides who will be concerned that the season is not shaping up the way they would have hoped. Two such sides face off this weekend at the Falcon alkoholfri arena as Falkenbergs FF face off against GIF Sundsvall in a clash which is pivotal at the bottom of the table.

It has hardly been the dream start to the season for Falkenbergs FF as they have lost nine of their 16 matches in the league to date and they currently find themselves propping up the division, albeit on goal difference. A major part of their issues has come from their inability to keep the ball out of the back of their net and the 33 goals they have conceded this term represents the worst defensive record in the division. However, there is reason for them to be hopeful as they have shown signs of recovery on home soil of late and they have managed five points from their last three games in front of their own fans.

The side hoping to end this recent return to form is another side who are locked in their own period of turmoil at the moment. The visitors are level on points with this weekends hosts and given that they are yet to keep a clean sheet away from home this season, they face an uphill battle if they are to come through this contest unscathed. Like their hosts, they have a pretty poor defensive record but they have been a bit more productive in attack so will fancy their chances at the three points.

Given the lack of defensive capabilities displayed by both of these sides, it should come as no surprise to learn that we expect them both to be able to find the back of the net in this contest.
